Palm Trees by Edith Varian Cockcroft 1920 Framed Canvas Print
A more modernist approach to the Florida Landscape. Sabal Palms and Mossy oaks line a tannic creek. Edith was what you would call a Renaissance Woman. Trained as a painter under William Merritt Chase, she traveled and exhibited in Europe, but she also worked in all sorts of design including couture clothing, textile printing, and ceramics.
